The MIMIX instance for additional clones can be installed and configured using the same method as the first clone. This is recommended.
After an additional instance is installed, it is also possible to use the Copy Configuration Data (CPYCFGDTA) command to copy configuration from the first clone. If you choose to use the CPYCFGDTA command, after the configuration is copied, you must manually change names within MIMIX configuration elements. For example, you must rename the system definition for the *NET system to identify the target of the second instance. Also, you must change the transfer definition to identify the correct IP addresses and port numbers. Because MIMIX configuration elements include multiple inter-related references to each other, there may be additional configuration elements that need to be updated.
