Carrier route codes are unique identifiers assigned to each mail carrier who delivers mail, allowing unique identification of each U.S. delivery route. ValidateMailingAddressUSCAN can return the code that represents an addressee's carrier route.
Note: Carrier route codes are available for U.S. addresses only.
To obtain carrier route codes, OutputRecordType must contain P. For more information on OutputRecordType, see Output Data Options.
