GAV tables (previously called postal tables or postal directories) are enabled for 64-bit, UTF-8 character encoding. Tables using any other encoding mechanism, including 32-bit tables, are not compatible with Trillium v17 Postal Matchers.
Note the following:
By default, all GAV and Geocoder tables and files are installed in the .../tables directory in the Trillium server installation path. The 64-bit, UTF-8 tables are installed in the postal_tables sub-directory. The postal_utf8 directory is no longer created.
Ensure the 64-bit GAV tables reside in 64-bit tables directory. The default location on Linux is .install_path/tsq/tables
