The Add-on installation package and supplemental transports are delivered as SAP Archive (SAR) files.

To install the add-on:

  1. Locate the files IN106700.SAR and TSSERPTP106.SAR on the installation CD.

  2. Copy the files onto your SAP server into the directory /usr/sap/trans.

  3. Login to your SAP server at the operating system level as user <sid>adm.

  4. Unpack the archives using the following commands:

    cd /usr/sap/trans (for Linux)           

    or   

    cd/d <D>:\usr\sap\trans (for Windows)   

    SAPCAR -xvf IN106700.SAR   

    SAPCAR -xvf TSSERPTP106.SAR

    File IN106700.SAR contains the base Field Extensions add-on TSSERP 1.06.

    File TSSERPTP106.SAR contains two transports that contain the supplemental Field Extension objects for the CRM WebClient that can be delivered in namespace /TSSERP/:

       Q71K900063 - Customizing for CRM WebClient

  5. Log on to your SAP system in client 000 and run transaction SAINT to install the TSSERP Add-on.

  6. In SAINT, load the Add-on package from the file system of the application server.

  7. Click Yes when prompted to upload OCS Packages.

    A message similar to the following displays:

  8. Click the Back button.

  9. In the Add-On Installation Tool window, verify that Trillium Connector Add-on release 8.4 or later is installed.

  10. Start the installation of the TSSERP Add-on by selecting the Environment > Add-on Manager for EBP/CRM menu option.

  11. In the Add-on Manager window, click Continue.

  12. Select the Add-on TSSERP and click Continue.

  13. Click Confirm to lock CRM online users and click Continue.

  14. Click Confirm to log off users and click Continue.

  15. Click Execute to make sure all messages are processed.

  16. The Convert BDoc Messages window opens. Click Execute.

  17. A message displays confirming that the messages have been converted. Click Back.

  18. Click Continue.

  19. A confirmation of import is requested. Click the check mark  to begin importing the Add-On.

  20. Allow the installation to execute.

  21. Two information messages display. Click the check mark  twice to dismiss the messages.

  22. Click Execute to regenerate Runtime Objects.

  23. Click Background to run the job.

  24. Click the check mark .

  25. Click Yes or No to indicate whether or not you want to schedule a periodic job to generate the middleware objects.

  26. The status should be green. Click Continue.

  27. Click Confirm to restart CRM Inbound Queues and click Continue.

  28. Click Confirm to unlock CRM Online Users and click Continue.

  29. On the CRM Add-On Manager screen, click Continue.

  30. On the next screen, click Complete to finish the installation.

  31. Restart transaction SAINT and you should see that the TSSERP Add-on has been installed.

  32. When the installation completes, select the Goto > Import Logs > Single package menu option to review the installation logs.

  33. Enter OCS Package name SAPK-106COINTSSERP.

  34. All return codes should be 4 or less. Click Back to return to the previous screen.

  35. Leave transaction SAINT and log off of client 000.
