By default EnterWorks is configured to include the root node when a JSON export template is used to export record values. To configure EnterWorks to exclude the root node, you must set shared configuration properties.

To configure EnterWorks to include or exclude the root node in JSON export template exports:

  1. Stop all EnterWorks services.
  2. Update the shared configuration properties with the value given below. If the setting does not appear in the sharedConfig.properties files, add it to the files.
    • publish.output.root.for.json: Specifies whether the root node will be included or excluded. This setting defaults to yes.

      • yes: Include the root node.

      • no: Exclude the root node.

  3. Restart all EnterWorks services.
