Ironstream z/OS Software Discovery data can be imported by two methods: Run on demand and scheduled Run.
Run on demand
- In the Navigator, go to Ironstream Z/OS Software Discovery > Scheduled Data Imports
- Select the Ironstream Z/OS Software Discovery CPC entry.
- Click Execute Now.
- The CPC import will automatically trigger its child imports (if they are active), because they are chained.
- To monitor progress, go to: Ironstream Z/OS Software Discovery > Configuration > Import Sets
Scheduled Run
- In the Navigator, go to Ironstream Z/OS Software Discovery > Scheduled Data Imports
- Select the Ironstream Z/OS Software Discovery CPC entry.
- Configure the schedule to run at your desired time.
- Refer to ServiceNow scheduling documentation for detailed scheduling options.

The progress of a run can be viewed underIronstream Z/OS Software Discovery > Configuration > Import Sets.
This page lists all triggered data imports along with their current progress and status.
To see more details, click any specific Import Set entry to open its execution information.
