To install Ironstream DEMZ Agent on IBM Z mainframe, follow these steps:
  1. Use the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to upload the EView/390z datasets to each z/OS mainframe LPAR (Logical Partition) that you want to discover.
  2. Ensure that all target LPARs are accessible and have sufficient permissions for the upload.

Files to upload

Download the Ironstream DEMZ Agent zip file from the PDX portal. This archive has three files in TSO 'TRANSMIT' format. Extract the files to a directory of your choice.
Note: In the file names, xxx represents the version and patch level. For example, 750 indicates version 7.5, patch level 0.
