License for the Ironstream DEMZ Agent

You need one license key for each physical IBM Z mainframe that you want to manage. If your mainframe has multiple logical partitions (LPARs), you can use the same license key for all LPARs on that machine.

To obtain your license keys, contact your Precisely account executive or visit support.precisely.com. When requesting a license key, you may need to provide the serial number of your IBM Z system.

To find the serial number:
  1. From a z/OS console, enter the command DISPLAY M=CPU or DISPLAY M=CORE.
  2. In the output, locate the line that begins with CPC ND =.
  3. The serial number is the last five characters of this line.

For example, in the following output, the serial number is 70571 (highlighted at the end of the CPC ND line):
