Purpose: When a new set of distribution libraries is built, the current Julian date is assigned as the Service Level of the software. The service level is normally documented as SLyyddd. The products within the SCC product suite are generally at different release levels.
The SL command can be used to display the current Service Level information
found in the DTSRELI member in the LOADLIB data set:
DTS.R71.LOADLIB.
Syntax:
SL
Comments: You may wish to add the SL command to the
START00 member in PARMLIB. Whenever the
DIF started task initializes, the SL output will be
written to the SYSPRINT DD statement.
Examples: To check the current service level of the products, use the following console command:
F DIF,SL
