This chapter describes how to set up the database for a new Precisely product installation. The procedures identify the desired locations of tablespaces, create the database tables, and load the tables with the data required for your Precisely application.
Your company may require that a database administrator performs or assists with the procedures described in this chapter. The person installing the database must have authority to create new tables and a schema for the Precisely application and to create a new database user.
