The MON-Explorer History Database (MON-ExplorerHDB) service can be used to collect storage management event records produced by the MON-RTM host component. This database used by the MON-ExplorerHDB service can be used to research past events or evaluate past and future storage trends for capacity planning via the Explorer PC-GUI application.
The MON-ExplorerHDB service runs on a Linux server. ExplorerHDB is written in Java. The service stores records produced by MON-RTM in a MySQL database.
