You can generate a Fiori-based SAP API script using the SAP API (JSON) data type.

  1. Click the File tab, and then click New.
  2. Click Fiori.
  3. In the Data Type drop-down, select SAP API (JSON).
  4. Browse to select the data file.
    Note: If you have an existing .json or .txt data file, check the I have an existing data file box and browse to select the file.

  5. Click Start Recording and complete the recording in SAP. After recording, the mapper shows the Upload Type.

  6. In the Mapper, the Upload Type is set to Single by default. You can change this to Bulk if needed.

  7. Toggle the SAP API (JSON) data source to generate a JSON payload based on the selected upload type.
  8. Click Generate to regenerate the payload if any changes are made in the Mapper.
    Note: Only Fiori scripts with a JSON data source are supported for SAP Data API creation. If a non-Fiori script is selected, a notification prompt will appear. After submission, the API will be listed in the SAP Data API solution page in Evolve.
