- Introduced new webhook events to support large file uploads.
- You can now associate a composed communication with its originating draft.
- A webhook is now triggered when a template’s status changes, enabling better tracking and integration with external systems.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue that left documents in a Pending Approval state.
- Fixed an issue preventing communications from being triggered via the Public Communications API when multiple communication templates with multiple versions were specified.
- Fixed an issue where extracting documents from the archive could return duplicate records.
- Fixed an issue to ensure appropriate metadata validation rules are applied to files during S3 upload.

Release Update - August 20th 2025
New + Improved
- The user can now click through from the Rapid Communications screen to the Job Details screen for print communications. This is done by clicking the Job Number in the list of communications.
- The RapidCX Public API specification has been updated, based on the latest changes in the Webhook Subscription API.
Fixes
- Fixed an error with the color of the message "No Documents were approved. Please try again." It was erroneously displayed in green; it is now correctly displayed in red.
Release Update - August 13th 2025
New + Improved- Email communications with attachments are now supported on the public API.
- Rapid documents sent for printing can now be tracked by jobs in Job Tracking.
- Added the full timestamp to the Creation Date column in the table of draft communication search results. The table is now sorted by created date.
Fixes
- Fixed an error that occurred when trying to access a template.
- Fixed an issue that caused an error message to be displayed when attempting to attach a Communication Template Resource to a Communication Template and clicking the "View" button in the operations column of the search results.
- Fixed an issue where clicking Next when editing a letter in the Rapid Communication Sender did nothing. The user will now see validation for simple Data Definitions.
- Fixed an issue with the Rapid Communication Sender Page (Draft Communication Handling), which showed an incorrect PDF Delivery Method.
- Fixed an issue in the Rapid Communications Sender dashboard where the number of records shown was limited to 1000.
- Fixed an issue with uploading Communication Template Resource files larger then 1MB. The system will now upload files up to 2MB in size (as intended).
Release Update - August 6th 2025
New + Improved- A new tool tip has been added that will appear when a user hovers over the "rule applied" icon within the Communication Template interface. The tool tip displays both the rule's name and its version.
- Uploading and downloading large files (>10MB) is now supported, so that clients can efficiently store and access large documents in the RapidCX archive.
Fixes
- When a communication involves a growing table with data received via a complex data definition, and the data is sent through the communication-drafts endpoint, the data is now properly rendered in the portal.
- Fixed an issue with attaching rules to SMS templates during configuration.
- PDF communication templates containing design-time attachments can now be correctly composed by the Rapid Communications Sender.
- Fixed an issue where an incorrect HTTP status code (500 Internal Server Error) was returned from the public API.
