The Delete from Data Store node is used to remove records from an existing Internal Database data store.
Unlike the Data Store Output node, this node does not create a new data store. Instead, users must select an existing data store, and the system will restrict choices to Internal Database data stores only.
| Change type | Description |
|---|---|
| Introduced in version 13.0 | A new node Delete from Data Store has been added to the Input/Output nodes in the Analysis Designer. |
Selecting a Data Store
Before designing an Analysis, you must select an existing data store to serve as your delete target. The system will limit your choices to Internal Database data stores only.
Field Mapping
As data passes from Data Store Inputs, through Enhance and Analytics nodes, and into a Data Store Output, the selected fields may change in structure and in name many times.
Field mapping is required only for those fields that will be used on the Delete tab. These are the fields that will be used to identify which records to delete.
Delete Tab
You must specify the key field(s) that uniquely identify each record to be deleted. These key fields are mandatory and are used to match records in the data store for deletion.
