Starting with version 24.2.27, Assure QuickEDD now supports License manager for license keys.
License Manager provides a common set of functions for several Precisely products that run on IBM i systems and may already be on your system.
To determine if License Manager is installed, enter the command:
LAKEVIEW/WRKPRD LIB(PMEDH)
(PMEDH is provided as an example, replace this value by the library where Assure QuickEDD is installed)
If the command returns the error “Library LAKEVIEW not found”, License Manager does not exist on the system yet.
If License Manager is installed on the system, the command displays the release of License Manager and Assure QuickEDD installed.
