Log download via Settings page

Global administrators can now download logs from multiple Evolve application servers directly through the Settings page. This simplifies access to server logs and supports streamlined troubleshooting and monitoring.

For details, refer to Logs.

Support for OAuth Authentication for REST API Connections

Evolve now supports OAuth 2.0 authentication for REST API data connections, enabling secure integration with third-party APIs. For details, refer to Create Data Sources.

Integration of Fiori Scripts with Form solution

Users can now execute Fiori scripts directly through Form features, which will streamline processes and improve efficiency. For a complete list of features and capabilities, refer to the Automate Evolve User Guide.

Enhanced Integration of Precisely APIs with DIS for advanced validation

Integration of Precisely APIs with the Data Integrity Suite (DIS) has been enhanced to provide advanced address, email, and phone validation capabilities. These improvements are designed to streamline data entry, improve data quality, and support location-based use cases across global regions.

  • A drop-down menu listing countries has been added to the address element, allowing users to select a country for which autocomplete functionality will be enabled.
  • Two new Auto-complete types have been added to the address element AutocompleteType:

    1. Express autocomplete
    2. PostalCity autocomplete
  • The Workflow configuration option has been updated to support a comma-separated list of countries instead of a single country. These countries are integrated into the address element's autocomplete functionality: PreciselyAutocompleteCountry.

For details, refer to the Integrate Precisely APIs with Evolve and Data Connections.

Introduced new Workflow user license

A new Workflow User license has been introduced to replace the Platform User license. At least one Workflow user license is now required to perform specific workflow tasks. For specific workflow tasks, refer to the Additional Licenses.

Viewers and Administrators can still access Evolve without a license for any auditing or admin purposes and do not count against the system license count.

For details, refer to the Automate license definitions and Automate license restrictions.

SAML based SSO integration between SAP S/4HANA public cloud and Azure AD

A new configuration enables seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) between SAP S/4HANA cloud and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). In this integration, Azure AD serves as the Identity Provider (IdP) and the SAP cloud server acts as the Service Provider (SP), utilizing the SAML 2.0 protocol for secure authentication. Once configured, Automate Evolve leverages this integration to connect with SAP via SAML. For detailed configuration steps, refer to the Appendix - SAML 2.0 SSO setup for SAP S/4HANA cloud with Azure active directory.
