A PC-based installation wizard is used to upload and install the software on all designated systems. Additionally, the retrieval and application of license keys from the Precisely website is automatic. This interface is the simplest method to use and prevents having to do several manual steps. See “Download the Installation Wizard to PC”below.
If you cannot use the wizard, the upgrade may be performed using a stream file from a 5250 command line. See Download the stream file for 5250 upgrade. If you have obtained the 5250 stream file on CD, skip to Prepare Your Environments.
