Note: Although the First Quarter 2025 database is compatible with the previous
CODE-1 Plus International 1.8.4 software versions, it is highly recommended that you install
the CODE-1 Plus International 1.8.5 software to benefit from the enhancements included in the
1.8.5 release. The CODE-1 Plus International 1.8.5 software release contains enhancements that
improve address matching for all countries. For information about installing the First Quarter

Saudi Arabia: New dataset at premises level
The 2025.1 release of the Universal POST*CODE DataBase provides a new dataset for Saudi Arabia, containing street names and house numbers.
Saudi Arabia uses two postcode systems, depending on the type of delivery:
- Coding method for home delivery: 5 digits above the locality name:
- One digit: postal region
- One digit: sector
- One digit: branch
- One digit: section
- One digit: block
- Coding method for PO Box delivery: 5 digits above the locality name.
- Two digits: postal zone
- Three digits: delivery point
