Before you begin installing the Starter Pack, you should have installed a copy of Ironstream on your system. If this is not the case, then contact your Precisely representative. You can obtain further information from Precisely:
Install Steps
Sign in to Splunk as an administrative user then follow these steps to install the Starter Pack:
On the Splunk home page, click the Manage Apps cogwheel (top left, above the list of current apps).
On the Apps page, click Install app from file.
Click Browse or Choose File on the Upload app dialog.
Locate and select the downloaded Ironstream_Security_Starter_Pack_IBM_i.tar.gz file and click Open.
Leave the upgrade app option unchecked.
Click Upload. The Starter Pack and its associated components will be installed into Splunk.
The installation file will be processed. You may be prompted to restart Splunk.
