You can use an external third party web mapping, geocoding and routing services with Spectrum Spatial Analyst. To do this, an administrator must first register these external services via Spatial Manager. As an additional security measure, it is recommended to restrict the outbound internet access on any machine where Spectrum Spatial Analyst and Spectrum Spatial services are installed. This is typically achieved by routing all the outbound internet traffic from the machine via a proxy server and allow listing only the trusted external service domains.
