You can commit a model with Connect CDC Director in offline mode for model-testing purposes.

  1. Do any of the following to enable offline mode:
    • Click its toolbar button.

    • Select Offline Mode from the File menu.
    • Click the Options toolbar button, (or select Options from the View menu) and then select the Enabled checkbox for the Offline mode option.
  2. Follow the same steps as you would when performing a full or incremental commit.

If the commit is unsuccessful, you receive commit error messages. Resolve these errors, and try again to commit. See Commit step fails.

  3. Once the commit is successful, copy the xml files to the host when back in online mode.

  4. Update the .cfg files for Change Selectors for IBM i and UDB.

    1. Select the process name.

    2. Right-click to bring up the context menu.

    3. Select Update Configuration File.
