Prepare the user database (Sybase) - Connect_CDC - connect_cdc_mimix_share - aws_mainframe_modernization_service - 6.x

During the metabase installation, Connect CDC Director created the omnirep database and granted privileges to its owner rpuser (replication user). After the metabase install, you must prepare the database by adding rpuser as the db_owner.

1. Right-click the server, then select Prepare User Database from the context menu of the server.
2. Enter the individual database name in the Database/Schema Name dialog.

   

3. Click OK.
4. Enter the DBMS Administrator userid and password in the User ID and Password dialog.

   

5. Click OK.

   A summary of the steps that Connect CDC Director takes to prepare the database displays.

   
6. Click OK.

   You see a screen with the commands executing and then a message that the process is complete.

   

7. Click OK.
