Process Definition Properties, Advanced page for the Db2/400 Change Selector - Connect_CDC - connect_cdc_mimix_share - 6.x

You use this page to specify for the Change Selector:

• Journal definition

• Receiver management parameters for this journal

• Process-specific properties

• Dedicated Capture Queue

These properties are stored in the EDMM until you commit the model, or until you select the Update Configuration File option from the process context menu and restart the process.

Some selections on the Process Definition Properties page have matching configuration parameters set when you initialize the Connect CDC Director.

For example, the configuration parameter for the Substitute for binary zero field is null_substitute. If you would like to turn off this feature, specify none in lower case.

The fields you access on the Process Definition Properties page are different depending on whether you are using a Journal Manager or the Delete Journal Receiver exit program.

To enter information:

1. Make each selection active and press F1 to determine the information you should enter.

2. Click Set Defaults to choose defaults for all options.

3. Click OK or select another page.

Online help is available for each of the fields if you position your cursor on the field, hold the right mouse button down and press [F1].
