If you created a model in Connect CDC 6.0 and switched replication methods from trigger-based to CDC, or vice-versa:

In Connect CDC Director, you must install a new metabase before you commit the model.

In Connect CDC MonCon, do a Force Model Update from one type of a model to another.

Ensure that you deregister (disable capture) all tables for the MS SQL Servers source. If you do not, when you move from trigger-based replication to CDC-base replication this may cause updates to the source tables to fail.

You must prepare a database to enable CDC for that database.
