Once the Single Sign-On URL and Issuer URI have been configured in your IdP, it is time to test the integration.

When testing the identity provider, use the same username (email) used to configure the IdP. Otherwise, you will come back to the test application as a different user who does not have permission to the IdP configuration.

  1. On the Precisely portal form, click Test Login to open the Precisely Sign-In page.
  2. Enter a username (email) and click Next. You will be taken to your organization’s login page.
  3. On the login page, enter the user’s password and click Login.
If the login succeeds, you will be taken back to the self-service portal where the user attributes transmitted to Precisely will be displayed. Validate the mapped attributes are correct.
If the attributes were not mapped properly, return to Step 1: Configure service provider and adjust the claims mapping.
