Updated support for Discovery of CICS
The retrieval of information about CICS/TS environments is updated to include the latest version (V6R2).
Updated version and copyright information
The version information displayed by the agent is now updated to current Precisely standards. On startup, the agent will print the version and patch level to the SYSPRINT file, and all source code is updated to include strings that clearly state the ownership of the software.
TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 are no longer supported
TLS v1.0 and v1.1 were deprecated in March 2021 under IETF RFC 8996 due to weak ciphers and vulnerabilities to various attacks such as BEAST and the so-called ‘Lucky Thirteen’ which exposes a timing issue in its ability to secure traffic. From v7.5.0, only TLS 1.2 or higher is supported.
Removed the third option for the capture of netstat data
- Look for a start-up parameter of TSOUTPUT <name> and use the dataset name there
- Look for a DD name of //TSOUTPUT in the agent’s JCL and use the dataset name there.
- Use the hard-coded name EV390.TSOUTPUT and create the dataset if necessary.
