The wizard creates a Precisely Assure Security folder in the Windows Start menu that includes icons for the following items:
  • Assure Security Console - launches the console
  • Pop Up tool - launches the Pop Up tool
  • Uninstall - launches the Assure Security Windows components uninstall wizard. The uninstall process removes all Windows components.
  • Syslog tool folder
    • Add Syslog Service - installs the Syslog EventLog service to Windows component services
    • Remove Syslog Service - uninstalls the Syslog EventLog service from Windows component services
    • Syslog Service Settings - launches the Syslog EventLog agent setup dialog
  • Shortcuts folder
    • Microsoft Windows Event Viewer - launches the Windows Event Viewer window
    • Microsoft Windows Services - launches the Windows Services window
  • Tools folder
    • Communication Checker - launches the Communications Checker tool
  • User Guides - folder containing user guides for Windows components in PDF format
