You must have an instance of Assure Security available that has license keys for the Assure Encryption feature before you start the migration. You must also ensure that the Alliance product is installed at a version listed in Supported upgrade and migration paths.

Do the following:

  1. End the AES/400 product in library ALLAES100. Run the following command:
    ENDSBS SBS(ALLAES100) OPTION(*IMMED)
  2. Access the main menu for Assure Security using the command:
    product-library-name/SECMAIN
  3. Select option 7, Encryption menu.
  4. From the Assure Encryption Menu, select option 1, Installation menu.
  5. From the Encryption Installation Menu, select option 10 (Migrate ALLAES100 library).
  6. A confirmation panel appears. To continue with the migration, press Enter.
Any configuration for Assure Encryption created in the product library for Assure Security will be replaced by the configuration migrated from the ALLAES100 library. The /ALLIANCE/AES subdirectory is migrated to: /VISIONSOLUTIONS/SECOPS/product-library-name/AES
