Follow these steps to install Assure Security for working with Illumio:

  1. Install Assure Security according to the installation instructions.
    1. Review the Installation Requirements before you begin. Refer to General requirements for installing or upgrading.

    2. Follow the installation instructions for either a Wizard or Manual installation. Refer to the Assure Security Installation (via Wizard) Guide or the Assure Security Installation (Manual) Guide.

    3. Be sure that you have the license keys for Assure Security, Assure System Access Manager (SAM) and for any additional licensed features that you plan to install.

    4. Complete the installation with the Post-new-install actions checklist.

  2. Add the Assure Security installation library to your library list. Run the following command:

    ADDLIBLE product-library

    Note: When Assure Security is installed, the product library is SECOPS by default.
  3. If you have not already registered an administrator profile in WRKQJAUT, follow the instructions in Register an Assure Security administrator profile.
  4. Make sure to specify an email address for receiving alerts and notifications related to the Assure SAM integration with Illumio. Run the WRKQJSET command. Refer to Enable emails from Assure Security for details.
  5. Make sure to schedule daily and monthly maintenance programs. Refer to Schedule daily and monthly procedures.
  6. Restore the SAM Illumio model.

    The Assure System Access Manager model for Illumio includes the Illumio exit points, controls and condition lists. To load the Illumio model, use the command RSTQXCFG as follows:

    RSTQXCFG SAVF(ILLUMIO) RSTCFG(*ADD) RSTLCN(*ADD) LCN(*ALL)

    After restoring the model, the following controls and condition lists are available:
    • ILLUMIOACU
    • ILLUMIOAC4
    • ILLUMIOCOU
    • ILLUMIOCO4
    And the following exit points are available:
    • SCK_ACCEPT
    • SCK_CONNEC
    • ILLUMIO
