Configuring an Assure MIMIX for AIX/PowerHA production to recovery server environment (option 3) - assure_mimix - assure_mimix_for_aix - 6.0

This section describes the following configuration:

Option 3:

• There is one production node in the cluster.

• Replication is to the second node in the cluster.

• Multiple Assure MIMIX for AIX Replication Group configurations are supported.

This purpose of this section:

• Have PowerHA for AIX monitor an Assure MIMIX for AIX context. PowerHA for AIX will monitor the LCA and ABA Assure MIMIX for AIX agents and provides notification in the event of failure.

• If the Assure MIMIX for AIX production server fails, provide the ability to failover Assure MIMIX for AIX and the users application to the recovery server after verifying the Replica data.

• Provide the ability to control Assure MIMIX for AIX by manipulating the location and status of the PowerHA for AIX resource groups.
