To support IBM Power Systems Live Partition Mobility, Assure MIMIX for AIX must be Migration-aware.
To make Assure MIMIX for AIX Migration-aware, when you install Assure MIMIX for AIX, the es_migrate script is automatically registered on systems capable of Live Partition Mobility, with the Dynamic Logical Partition (DLPAR) function of AIX.
Note: The es_migrate script is registered at installation time if the partition is capable of migration. In which case you do not have to register the es_migrate script. You should initially verify if it is registered, if not, proceed to register the es_migrate script.
