Spectrum Spatial stores named resources in an Apache Jackrabbit repository. This is separate from the Spectrum Technology Platform repository, which is based on Neo4j.
The password to the Apache Jackrabbit repository is stored in a repository.xml file and is by default not encrypted. To enhance security, an administrator (admin) can encrypt the password using the Spectrum Technology Platform Password Encryption Utility.
