To enable Google base map:

  1. Check Use Google Base Map or street view check box to add Google maps to Map Projects.
  2. Enter the Google API key and\or Google Client ID in the text boxes.
    Note: You need to generate Google Map API key or Google Client ID from the Google account. Once Google Base Map is enabled, you cannot remove Google Map API key and Client ID, as long as any Map configuration is using Google map as a base map.
    Note: The correctness of Google API key and Google Client ID is Administrators responsibility. Spectrum Spatial Analyst cannot verify its correctness.
    Note:
    • API key would be the preferred mode for unauthorized user
    • Client ID would be the preferred mode for authorized user

  3. Click on Save button.

Note: After you install this version of Spectrum, subsequent patch updates may sometimes require clearing the cache in the browser to take effect. Refer to the browser documentation for instructions about how to clear the cache.
