Permission Management manages access to named resources and folders for users. This section elaborates on how the permissions are managed.
An administrator, which is a user with an admin, spatial-admin, or spatial-sub-admin role, can view and change the permissions for users on resources and folders. The Permissions Tab appears on the details page of named resources while the Permissions Menu can be accessed from the menu bar of Spectrum Spatial Manager. The permission management feature facilitates the following:
- View and manage permissions across named resources
- View and manage permissions on the repository folders
- View permissions reports
Note: A user who is a spatial-sub-admin must have WRITE permission on the folders that contain the resources that they manage.
