To add WMS layers from named layers:

From the layer tree, click the Add WMS Layers button
located above the layer tree to add a WMS layer.

From the dialog, select one or more named layers or named tables to add and click
Select.
The details page for the first layer you selected appears.

On the GetMap Preview tab, click Preview. You can then change the coordinate system and style to see an updated preview. Because the layer preview image uses a GetMap request, this lets you know the request is working.

Once the layers are added, click the Capabilities tab to make sure they are exposed through the WMS service properly and that they follow your intended layout.
