A dBASE DBF is a file format for a dBASE database that stores tables of data, typically in fixed-length fields. It is similar to native TAB except it stores its data in a .DBF rather than a .DAT. Both MapInfo Pro and Spectrum Spatial support DBF TAB files.
Spectrum Spatial treats dBASE DBF TAB as a read-only data source.
