You specify the zoom range to display a layer at, such as between 1 mile and 10 miles, when defining visibility constraints for a layer in MapInfo Pro. The Map Uploader tool sets the layer visibility to that zoom range when uploading a map to the Spectrum repository.

To ensures that the layer visibility is converted from zoom to scale and the layer visibility is set to scale range (instead of zoom range):

  1. On the Map Uploader Preferences dialog, click the Maps tab.
  2. Select the Convert zoom constraints to scale checkbox.
  3. Click OK.

You will see this setting take effect the next time you upload a map.
