To request a map legend using the Mapping Service SOAP interface, you submit (via HTTP POST) a GetNamedMapLegendsRequest request message to the Mapping Service SOAP interface. The Mapping Service will then return a GetNamedMapLegendsResponse response message that contains the requested legend data.
