A Spectrum admin user can release the MRR native handle manually by setting an option in the Spectrum JMX Console to close all open handles.

Open a web browser and go to
http://server:port/jmx-console
Where:
server is the IP address or hostname of your Spectrum Technology Platform server.
port is the HTTP port used by Spectrum Technology Platform. The default is 8080.

Log in using the admin account.

Under "Domain: Spatial", click
Spatial:name=MRRCache,type=Remote Component.

Click the Invoke button next to the closeAll
operation to close all the open MRR handles.
You will get a message on the status of the invocation.
Note: A forced closure can throw an exception when the handle is being used in parallel for the
purpose of rendering. Such exceptions are ignored but logged.
