The z/OS Db2, Db2/LUW (UDB) and Oracle Relational Database Managers Capture agents read database Recovery Logs and use the CDCStore Storage Agent to manages the transient data in memory mapped storage until it is Published to subscribing Engines.
While each of those database logs are structured differently the configuration of the Capture Agents on the respective platforms are very similar.
