Connect CDC (SQData) provides an efficient and effective mechanism for propagation and/or replication of data utilizing Change Data Capture Agents and the Engine. Source and target data may exist in different data structures and as described in the section titled Cross Platform Operation, they may reside on both different physical systems and operating systems.
The following diagram depicts an implementation of two Engines, one that performs replication of the source Relational database and a second that propagates those same changes to a Kafka Cluster running either in-house or in a cloud VM.
