On z/OS, some Connect CDC (SQData) Capture Agents utilize a System LogStream as the transient datastore for captured data. Similar to the CDCStore framework, CDCzLog provides a dynamic datastore capability with full restart/recovery, high performance, efficiency and reliability. CDCzLog also supports multiple target engines operating on different schedules using the same captured data without requiring its duplication. Only after an individual Unit-of-Work has been forwarded to all target Engines and consumed, will the CDCzLog Publisher delete the data from the LogStream.
