This release contains enhancements for zOS Db2 and zOS IMS.
- Db2 Capture based refresh now makes it possible to perform a target refresh from any size source table and do so concurrently with CDC processing.
- The Replicator Engine supports a "distributor" function writing IMS CDC records directly to Kafka, in CDCRAW format.
- An enhanced Apply Engine that, when paired with the enhanced Replicator, reads Kafka as a Consumer and supports IMS replication with parallel apply.
Note: While Enhancements in V4.1 will not generally be back ported to 4.0, other changes made to address issues found in either Release will generally be made available in both Releases at some point.
