Several Utility programs supplement the Connect CDC (SQData) base product:

| SQDAEMON | Manages communications between components running on multiple platforms |
| SQDCONF | Creates, maintains and controls the configuration and operation of Capture and Storage agents |
| SQDUTIL | Performs Copy, Move, Dump and Clean functions for transient datastores associated with data capture. Also generates Public/Private key pairs used for validating communication between platforms. |
| SQDMON | Used to request status and control operation of agents through communication with the SQDAEMON. |
| SQDXPARM | Creates and maintains the configuration of selected z/OS capture agents. |
| SQDAMAST | Master Task Controller (z/OS only) - Intended for management of large numbers of z/OS Apply Engine instances under a single started task. NOT RECOMMENDED for z/OS CAPTURE ONLY IMPLEMENTATIONS. |
