The configuration file contains the environment variable values, which are available to the system and thereby available to the job initiator and database load scripts. These environment variables serve as the parameters to the job initiator script, which initiates the Connect ETL jobs, and to the database loader script, which generates and executes the vsql commands that interface directly with the Vertica database.
Depending on the number and size of the input data files to be loaded, two configuration files are available for use:
- LargeFileLoader.env
- MultiFileLoader.env
