Windows systems
Select Automatic in Startup type in the Editor Runtime Service Properties dialog to have the Editor Runtime Service started automatically when the system starts; select Manual otherwise.
UNIX systems
Use the install procedure as described under Stopping and Starting the Editor Runtime Service above. You are asked the appropriate questions.
