You can choose the order in which columns appear.  For example, if you have a very wide List View, you might want to group the columns you are most interested in so you don't have to scroll to see them all.

To re-position columns in List Views

  1. Right-click a column label and select Choose Columns…. The Choose List View Columns window opens.
  2. In Displayed fields, select the name of the column you want to move and drag it to its new position in the list. The column names are listed in the order that they display in the List View pane (left to right). The left-most column is listed at the top of the Displayed fields list.
  3. Repeat Step 2 for each column you want to move.
  4. Click OK.
    Note: The new positions are displayed only for the period in which the List View pane remains displayed. As soon as you close the List View, you lose the column changes. If you want to save the view, you can create a bookmark or export the data to a file.
