When the CDP or BDP has run, any errors in the Parsing Customization process are identified by the following message:

Parsing customization run with errors.

If you get this message, view and correct the errors using the procedure described below. You can also review the exceptions and statistics files from the Parser Tuner.

To view errors and statistics in Parsing Customization

  1. Launch the Parser Tuner.
  2. Select Open Error log from the File menu. The Open Error Log window opens and lists the log, statistics, and exceptions files on your system.
  3. Select the appropriate file and click Open. For example, e3_log.txt for the log file. The file opens in the Parser Tuner.
  4. The log displays the error message and indicates the line number, as well as the entry where the error occurred.
  5. To correct errors, edit the entry in the Customized Definitions file.
  6. Save the Customized Definitions file and retest the changes you made.
