During the data import process, Trillium translates your data files into three repository objects: entities, attributes, and rows.

To verify a new entity

  1. Click the Entities tab on the Discover bar and ensure there is an entry in the Navigation View for the data file you imported.
  2. Expand the entity and ensure that there is an attribute for each column in your source data.
Note: For COBOL copybooks, the attribute names are taken from the copybook.
  3. Double-click the entity name to display its rows in List View.
    • Make sure that you have one entity row for every data row imported.
    • Check the alignment of data to ensure that it is not being spread across attributes.
