Sort for Linking 3 - trillium_quality - trillium_discovery - Latest

The third Sort for Linking process will sort records in ascending order according to the content of the Window Key 03 attribute, which comprises the phone number. Similar to Sort for Linking 2, you must add this Sort process to your project and then edit its settings to sort the rows correctly.

To set up and run the third Sort for Linking process

1. In the project view, right-click the output of the first Relationship Linker process.

2. Click Add process branch. The Create Process window opens.

3. Select Sort for Linking from the Process selection list, select the Configure Now check box and click OK. The Sort Order window opens.

4. Click Insert and specify Window Key 3 as follows:

   • Name: WINDOW_KEY_03

   • Order: Ascending

   • Collating sequence: ASCII

5. Click OK.

6. Select WINDOW_KEY_01 and click Delete.

7. Click OK in the confirmation message. Only Window Key 03 remains.

8. Click Finish. 

9. Run the process and display the output file to verify that the rows are now sorted in ascending order by Window Key 03.
